Insider Patch Notes 2.0.11.8
Insider Update 2.0.11.8 is now live! With our February update right around the corner, this will be our final Insider build for this release. Head to Duke to grab a Bounty of Rage and venture into the Devil’s Roar to retrieve one of those mysterious chests!

Crews of Rage
- Skeleton Orders Rewards – Defeating a Skeleton Lord found on a Raging Fire Bounty will now offer more dig sites and in turn more valuable rewards.
Updates
- How did you hit that? – Players can now harpoon the Stronghold Key and the Fort of the Damned Stronghold Key.
Fixed Issues
General
- Replaced missing rocks on Devil’s Thirst at the catacombs entrance.
Cursed Crew Commendations that require players to defeat skeletons while under the effect of a Cursed Cannonball should progress more consistently.
Treasure Chests no longer display ‘Key needed to unlock’ text.
Raising a broken mast and leaving it unsecured, then taking damage to other parts of your ship will no longer cause the mast to drop.
Fort of the Damned skeleton waves no longer use the same order of coloured skeletons each time.
Particle effects such as candles, Chest of Rage effects and sea spray should no longer become static and float in the air for a short period of time.
Attempting to re-join a session should no longer cause a player to become stuck on the black screen.
New Player Onboarding
- Players who have completed the company onboarding should no longer be shown the intro cutscene on loading into the game.
- During the Maiden Voyage, players should no longer become stuck in the hold while exploring.
Arena
- The ‘Vote to Rematch’ option now display button prompts in the users control scheme.
Chest of Rage
- When the Chest of Rage is enraged, there is now a clear audio trigger to indicate the imminent explosion.
- Placing the Chest of Rage in specific locations on the lower deck of the sloop will no longer cause it to remain cooled.
Known Issues
- Cosmetics - Equipped Cosmetics do not persist between sessions – Some players may find that after equipping cosmetics then leaving the game, upon their return those cosmetics will no longer be equipped.
